Another big title fight is around the corner, and this time it’ll be Devin Haney’s undisputed lightweight gold at stake when he meets Vasiliy Lomachenko Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Haney will enter this title fight with a perfect pro record of 29-0. It’ll be “The Dream’s” second unified lightweight championship defense. Haney’s first undisputed title defense was his rematch with George Kambosos last October. He defeated Kambosos via unanimous decision.

As for Lomachenko, he enters the contest with a 17-2 record. The former multi-division world champion fell short in his bid to unify the lightweight gold, losing to Teofimo Lopez via unanimous decision back in 2020. Since that bout, “Loma” has gone 3-0 with wins over Masayoshi Nakatani, Richard Commey, and Jamaine Ortiz.

The action will emanate from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be Haney’s fifth career fight in Las Vegas. As for Lomachenko, it’ll be his seventh bout in Sin City.
