Tim Tszyu vs. Tony Harrison: Live Stream, Betting Odds & Fight Card
Tim Tszyu (21-0) face Tony Harrison (29-3-1) on Saturday with the winner facing Jermell Charl0 later this year.
On Saturday, Showtime Boxing heads “Down Under” as they broadcast live from the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The main event will be for the WBO Interim junior middleweight title as Tim Tszyu (21-0) faces Tony Harrison (29-3-1) and the right to face undisputed champion Jermell Charlo (35-1-1) later this year.
This event being in Australia gives Tszyu the advantage of having the home crowd entirely behind him. After scoring a unanimous decision over Terrell Gausha (23-3-1), Tszyu was quickly lined up to face Charlo in January, but that fight was canceled due to an injury suffered in training camp by the undisputed champion. While Tszyu did not want to waste the time and effort spent with training camp, he decided to move ahead with a fight that was just as challenging.
The 32-year-old Harrison was waiting in the wings and ready to step up to the challenge, which ended up getting finalized, and now we are officially at fight week. Harrison would have been out of the ring for about eleven months by fight time as his unanimous decision victory over Sergio Garcia occurred in April. Harrison is a savvy veteran with the skills to give a greenish Tszyu some issues, especially with the level of opposition being vastly different between both men. Can Harrison once again become a junior middleweight champion?
Here are the latest betting odds and all the info you need to prepare for Tim Tszyu vs. Tony Harrison.
