Did Gervonta Davis & Ryan Garcia Bet Their Purses On Instagram Live?

Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and ‘KingRy’ Ryan Garcia bet their purses on AMP KAI’s Instagram live earlier tonight.

The fight week shenanigans have begun. On Instagram, live content creator AMP KAI had Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis in the same room earlier tonight. As they were live streaming, Ryan Garcia joined, and the three went back and forth.

There was a part in the conversation where Davis said, “Yo, wanna bet”? Garcia then replied, “Yea, let’s do it.” Davis quickly replied, “Let’s do it. The whole purse”. This made Davis’ eyes open wide, and then he reacted by saying, “That’s a bet?”. Ryan then confidently replied, “Yea, you hear me on the live, let’s bet.” Then Garcia suggested that they both sign a contract to agree to the bet. Davis can be seen speaking to someone on his phone to let Al Haymon know about the discussion that he was having with Garcia so that he could write up the contract.

This isn’t the first time fighters “bet” their purses on fight week for the sake of the promotion. Even recently, Logan Paul bet Team Fury that his brother would win, and he would not fulfill the bet after his brother lost, making it just fight week talk. This probably falls along the line of just banter, but it certainly keeps the flame going heading into the grand arrivals tomorrow afternoon in Las Vegas, NV.
