Takuma Inoue recent form
Inoue (22-2, 5 KOs) fought Nasukawa on November 24, 2025, and won by unanimous decision, with scorecards of 117-111 and 116-112 to win the vacant WBC bantamweight world title. Inoue controlled the pace throughout and landed the sharper punches, deserving the win.
After that success, the younger brother of Naoya Inoue dominated Kazuto Ioka, winning by unanimous decision, with scorecards of 119-107, 120-106, and 118-108.
Tenshin Nasukawa recent form
After the loss to Inoue, Nasukawa (8-1, 3 KOs) could have been forgiven for taking a tune-up fight, but instead, he faced Mexican legend Juan Francisco Estrada, stopping “El Gallo” in the ninth round, while up on all three cards.
The former kickboxing star has to be applauded for his bravery and willingness to take tough fights at every step.
Takuma Inoue vs Tenshin Nasukawa prediction
Takuma is the younger brother of Naoya, but a great fighter in his own right. He carries impressive hand speed and is at his best when applying the pressure and letting his hands go. Watching Inoue, his distance control stands out, as does the variety in his work.
Nasukawa, the former kickboxing star, has adapted impressively to professional boxing. He’s a great counter-puncher, with his left hand his best weapon. His body work against Estrada was exceptional and the main way he broke down the Mexican. Nasukawa couldn’t get his best work off, as Inoue controlled the distance well and outworked Nasukawa in their first fight.
Despite the unanimous decision in their first fight, this rematch should be a great watch for all boxing aficionados. Looking at the attributes of both, we are backing Inoue to get the job done again, but a closer fight than last time.
