O’Shaquie Foster signs multi-year extension with Top Rank
The current super featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster has committed to his long-term future by signing a multi-year extension with Top Rank. Via a press release, Foster and his Top Rank president Todd duBoef gave their reactions to the extension.
O’Shaquie Foster operates at the top table at 130 pounds
Foster (25-3, 12 KOs) has impressed since turning professional in 2012. He suffered two early setbacks in his career, losing to Samuel Teah and Rolando Chinea. A winning streak followed with good wins over Rey Vargas, Eduardo Hernandez, and Abraham Nova among others.
Foster avenged a controversial split decision defeat to Robson Conceicao before defeating Stephen Fulton by unanimous decision and Ray Ford by majority decision. The two most recent wins confirmed the high level Foster is operating at.
Todd duBoef reacts to O’Shaquie Foster extension

Reflecting on the news of his contract extension, O’Shaquie Foster said:

The Big Fight Weekend verdict
With all the confusion surrounding Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, it feels like things that make sense don’t always happen in boxing. However, Top Rank has been instrumental in the development of the two-time super featherweight world champion O’Shaquie Foster.
If anything, “Shock” appears to be getting better, with his two most recent wins a fine example of that. Foster is expected to be back in action this fall, with big fights available for the WBC super featherweight champion.
