The official time of stoppage for this six-round light heavyweight bout was 2:42. Hall was first dropped by three hooks to the head and one to the body. A left hook upstairs later sent him falling back to the ropes. This was also ruled a knockdown by referee Celestino Ruiz, who put an end to proceedings after deeming Hall to be in no position to continue.
