Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman: Prediction and fight card for March 28 clash

Big Fight Weekend brings you our prediction, the full fight card, and streaming information ahead of Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman. This super bout headlines a PBC Pay-Per-View event, with Fundora’s WBC title up for grabs.

This fight was originally set for last October, before a hand injury to Fundora led to the card being postponed. Can Thurman roll back the years, or will Sebastian Fundora be too fresh for “One time?”

Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman fight details

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Venue: MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Start time: 20:00 EST.

Undercard fight to watch: Yoenis Tellez vs. Brian Mendoza.

Current main event odds: Fundora -380, Thurman +280, draw +1800.

Sebastian Fundora recent form

Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) has largely impressed throughout his professional career, with his only defeat coming against Brian Mendoza, a fight he was in complete control of, before being stopped in stunning fashion. Since then, “The Towering Inferno” has built himself back up with two wins against Tim Tszyu and a dominant victory against Chordale Booker.

The 28-year-old southpaw is a towering presence, but is at his best fighting on the inside, throwing hurtful hooks at a relentless pace. His unique size allows him to punch from unusual angles, which was seen against Booker, and ultimately led to the stoppage win. Fundora boxes diligently and never rushes his work, presenting an awkward puzzle for Thurman to solve.

Keith Thurman recent form

Thurman (31-1, 23 KOs) on his day has shown elite boxing skills. He has impressive wins against Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter. In more recent years, his career has almost ground to a halt, due to injuries and inactivity since his only career defeat against Manny Pacquiao. “One Time” returned to action last March, impressing in a stoppage win against Brock Jarvis.

Thurman has exceptional hand speed and punches in combinations, and these attributes will be vital in slowing Fundora down. He’s adept at breaking his opponents down and will look to target the body of Fundora. “One Time” will look to use his experience and set traps for Fundora. This is a fascinating fight on paper.

Fundora vs Thurman prediction

Question marks are attached to both despite their excellent records. Fundora can be hurt, and Thurman is as savvy as they come. Thurman’s inactivity could have a huge impact on the outcome of this fight. Writing this, I believe a prime Thurman stops Fundora, but “The Towering Inferno” has freshness and activity on his side, and that will be enough for him to win a competitive unanimous decision.
