Jaron Ennis vs. Uisma Lima press conference quotes

Jaron Ennis

“I’m glad that he’s confident,” said Ennis. “I like it. I like the confidence but he talking too much. He gonna get exactly what he looking for cause it’s gonna be an early night. I’m have some fun and we gonna show up. I’m not playing. I’m not here to play games.”

“I know what he bring to the table. Like I said, whatever he bring I’m [going to] be ready and it’s that time.”

Uisma Lima

“All my life we train for this moment, this [type of] event” said Lima. “We put [in] a good camp for this fight. I’m in the best shape of my life. I’m ready for this fight.”

“Yeah, for sure [I know I can beat Ennis] and they know I can beat [him].”

Fight prediction

Lima has had plenty of success on the road since his defeat to Aaron McKenna, winning two bouts in Germany and one each in Canada and South Africa. His last three opponents were all undefeated when they faced him. However, Ennis will be a completely different challenge. Lima’s talents may allow him to have some success, but expect his opponent to outbox him and eventually get the stoppage. Ennis to win this by knockout by round 10.
