Hitchins Fires Shots at Kambosos Jr and Doubts Teofimo Lopez
Hitchins (19-0. 7 KOs) is the IBF champion following his win over Liam Paro. It was a dominant performance, even more so than the split decision scorecards suggested. Kambosos Jr (22-3, 10 KOs) will need to deliver a performance similar to when he shocked Teofimo Lopez back in 2021.
When talking to Dan Rafael, Hitchins did not hold back when asked about Kambosos Jr: “I’m gonna make a movie outta him. If he don’t come in there and prove he’s on an elite level of boxing, I’m going to show him he’s a f***ing bum, and I believe he’s a bum,” said Hitchins.

When asked by Rafael if Kambosos deserved his world title shot following his recent performances, the IBF champion again spoke honestly: “George Kambosos has been a bum before that. He’s been a bum. He beat Teofimo Lopez. Teofimo Lopez is a talented fighter like I said before. He’s a talented fighter, but IQ-wise…”
Hitchins continued: “Teofimo showed he a talented fighter with boxing experience but as far as IQ, as far as the s**t he needs to complete at a high level of boxing, he don’t have that. He has shown that since the amateur days.”

“Teofimo and me is not the same fighter, I’m a way better boxer than Teofimo,” said Hitchins.
