Brad Pauls vs. Denzel Bentley: Press Conference Quotes and Fight Prediction
Brad Pauls (19-1-1, 11 KOs) and Denzel Bentley (20-3-1, 17 KOs) will soon compete for British and European honours.
The two men headline a Queensberry Promotions card at the Wembley Arena in London, England. Boxing fans in the United Kingdom can catch the action live on TNT Sports, and those in the United States can do so with DAZN.
Pauls will be making the first defence of his British middleweight title after winning it via a twelfth-round technical knockout in a rematch against Nathan Heaney. The vacant European title is also at stake. Ahead of their December 7 clash, both men spoke at a press conference. Below is some of what they had to say.
Brad Pauls vs. Denzel Bentley Press Conference Quotes
Brad Pauls
“Feeling good,” said Pauls. “It’s a chain of fortunate events that’s led to this moment. Best year of my career. Mostmomentum I’ve had and it just keeps getting better and better with the European title being added. I feel this fight’s probably above British level. I think Denzel’s above British level, definitely, so I’m glad the European was added and now the incentive of the world title. Feels right. We was motivated anyway, but it just adds that extra bit for both of us. And yeah, everything I’ve got as always.”
Denzel Bentley
“Yeah, it’s nice, man,” said Bentley. “I’m grateful, I’m happy and I’ve got a job to do on December 7 before I think about anything that’s after. World title shots or whatever. There’s a man in front of me that’s very motivated and, you know, wants the same thing I do. So, got to go to work.”
Fight Prediction
Both fighters have spoken about how motivated they are and they should be. Not only are the British and European belts at stake, but a world title shot could also be forthcoming. On a number of occasions, Bentley’s power has won him fights early – including two second round stoppages this year alone. However, Pauls should have the ability and durability to overcome that power and ultimately win a decision on the scorecards.
