Tyson Fury Issues Bold Warning Ahead of Oleksandr Usyk Rematch
On December 21 at the Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will meet again in their highly anticipated rematch. Their first encounter saw Usyk create history, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis. The Ukrainian later vacated the IBF belt, seemingly following pressure from the IBF, with that title picked up by Daniel Dubois, who comprehensively stopped Anthony Joshua on September 21. Fury-Usyk II will be a unification belt for Usyk’s WBC, WBO and WBA heavyweight titles. Tipsters have already started weighing in on this colossal showdown following their heated first press conference where “The Gypsy King” issued a stern warning to his Ukrainian rival.

Fury Discusses Needing to Improve and Gaining Revenge
The launch press conference in London began the build-up to their historic rematch on December 21. Fury is known for mastering the build-up to fights and gaining a psychological edge before facing his opponents in the ring.
Fury appeared focused on December 21 and seemed determined to improve on where he fell short on May 18: “We’ve got to put that behind us, what happened in the fight,” Fury said. He continued: “I have to be a little bit more focused and a little bit more smart to get the victory.”
“The Gypsy King” has proven adept at making adjustments and winning rematches, as he has proven with his excellent performance in the second fight against Deontay Wilder after drawing their first fight. Addressing his excellent record in rematches, Fury said: “I always end up knocking them out in the rematch. Whoever I’ve faced more than once, I’ve ended up knocking them out in the rematch,” Fury said.
