The opening round began with the crowd chanting 2 Sharp, 2 Sharp, 2 Sharp, but Osaze was looking bright, with Bentley landing a couple of nice single shots, but “The Punching Preacher” looked sharp.
The 2nd round began the same, with Osaze the aggressor and outworking his opponent. With the round heading to a close, Bentley delivered a brutal uppercut that sent “The Punching Preacher” crashing to the canvas, forcing the referee to immediately wave the fight off. 2 Sharp by name, 2 Sharp by nature. Undercard
Promising cruiserweight Aloys Junior (8-1, 7 KOs) overcame the most difficult test in his professional career as he defeated Oronzo Birardi (8-1, 6 KOs), with the judges scorecards reading 98-92 and 97-93 x2. Birardi occasionally enjoyed success on the back foot with single shots and enjoyed a strong third round. Still, aside from that, Junior outworked his opponent and landed the more eye-catching work, and deserved the unanimous decision win.
Ben Fail (7-0, 5 KOs) remains unbeaten but had to work hard to overcome Omir Rodriguez (15-20-1, 6 KOs) in their super welterweight contest. The 2nd round knockdown from Fail was ultimately crucial but he will have learnt a lot from this 77-74 victory.
Joshua Frankham (10-0, 2 KOs) returned to action with a comfortable super welterweight win against the durable Artjom Spatar (4-10-1, 1 KOs). The referee scored the fight 60-54.
