Serhii Bohachuk Ready For Brandon Adams On Ring City
Today is finally here as the much-awaited matchup between Serhii Bohachuk and Brandon Adams to headline the first 2021 Ring City USA Fight card.
The Ring City USA card will air from Puerto Rico on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) beginning at 9 p.m. ET in a fight that was initially scheduled back in December but had to pull out due to Bohachuk having tested positive COVID-19. Adams instead took on Sonny Duversonne and disposed of him in two rounds.
I caught up with Serhii to talk about that and his initial thoughts on Adams.
“The one thing I really noticed when I first saw him (Adams) was he wasn’t as short as everyone is saying he is,” Bohachuk told Big Fight Weekend. “He’s not as short as everyone is saying.”

When I asked about how he felt since testing positive for coronavirus back in December, Bouachuk laid out to me what he had done to recover to get back to 100%.
“The symptoms I had for it were light, but I did have a raised temperature and fatigue. When I was waking up in the morning, it felt like I have gotten beatdown and everything was hurting”.
“The doctor recommended me to have rest once I had tested positive. I was resting for around three weeks. After that, I started training back again right away. The rest helped me out as I feel really fresh and very hungry,” Bohachuk said.
Bouhachuk, for the fight, is looking forward to shining on the Ring City USA platform tonight as this will be for a lot of fight fans the first time seeing him in action.
“I’m very excited about it,” Bohachuk said about the fight being aired on the Ring City USA platform.” I’ll also be to show my friends and family this fight and it will be easier to access that.”
He’ll have his hands full as Adams coming off the Duversonne will be re-prepared for Bohachuk.
“I’ve now trained twice for Serhill,” Adams mentioned in an interview BoxingScene.com leading into the matchup. “We already had a full camp for him last time, then he had to pull out the Friday before the fight. All of the work was done by then, so it was a matter of just adapting to the new opponent and then returning to the gym to fine tune everything we’ve already done before.”
This matchup will be a fun one and a classic 50-50 fight tonight on Ring City to check out.
