Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgović fight recap
Filip Hrgović (21-1, 16 KOs) silenced those in attendance with a ninth round technical knockout of Moses Itauma (14-1, 12 KOs).
The official time of stoppage was 2:27. Hrgović is now the IBF heavyweight world champion with the win. The title had been vacated by Oleksandr Usyk, allowing it to be put on the line for Itauma-Hrgović.
Itauma quickly established himself as the fighter with the quicker hands. Several straight punches connected and Hrgović struggled to land much of substance. Itauma was simply too agile.
A right hook to the head caused the Croatian’s glove to touch the canvas in round two. Hrgović proved to be quite durable, getting hit repeatedly with hard straight shots to the head and body but still staying on his feet. He had some success landing his power punches towards the end of round seven, but Itauma responded in turn. During the broadcast, trainer Abel Sanchez could be heard telling Hrgović that the Brit would soon tire. It ultimately proved to be true.
Itauma sought to end things in the eighth with a barrage of punches. A hard shot from Hrgović towards the end of the round put an end to that. By then, Itauma appeared exhausted and running on fumes. With under a minute to go in round nine, Itauma stumbled backwards after missing on a punch. Hrgović pressed forward and despite getting hit with a right hook coming in, put together a combination that hurt Itauma. Upon separating the two after they had fallen onto the ropes, referee Howard Foster put an end to proceedings with Itauma clearly in no position to continue.

Sam Noakes (19-1, 16 KOs) won a unanimous decision against Denys Berinchyk (19-2, 9 KOs). Scores for their 10-round lightweight contest were 100-90, 99-91, and 98-92.
Nelson Hysa (25-0, 23 KOs) won via second round technical knockout against Thomas Narmo (14-1, 14 KOs). The official time of stoppage for their 10-round heavyweight clash was 0:36. Narmo was dropped by an overhand right in the second. Although he got up, referee Howard Foster deemed him to be in no position to continue.
Constantin Ursu (16-0, 7 KOs) won via eighth round technical knockout against Ben Vaughan (12-3, 4 KOs). The official time of stoppage for this 12-round welterweight bout was 0:03. A ringside physician put an end to proceedings after deeming Vaughan to be in no position to continue (he had been cut badly in the fifth). Ursu remains the British and Commonwealth welterweight champion with the win.
Opening the broadcast on DAZN, Guido Vianello (14-3-2, 12 KOs) and Moses Jolly (12-0-1, 8 KOs) fought to a draw. Referee Amy Pu had this eight-round heavyweight fight 76-76.

On a portion of the undercard that was broadcast on YouTube, Arbnor Jashari (10-0, 3 KOs) won on points against Numan Hussain (8-2-2, 1 KO). Referee Lee Every scored their six-round super featherweight contest 59-55.
Aloys Junior (12-1, 9 KOs) won on points against Sherif Musah (4-3-1, 2 KOs). Referee Every had their six-round cruiserweight clash 60-54.
Zayn Ahmed (3-0, 1 KO) won via second round technical knockout against Liam Fitzmaurice (0-19, 0 KOs). The official time of stoppage for this four-round super featherweight bout was 2:47. Fitzmaurice was dropped in the second by a right hook to the body. Although he got up, a barrage of punches from Ahmed soon after caused referee Pu to put an end to proceedings.

Hassan Ishaq (4-0, 3 KOs) won on points against Enzo Muñoz (4-17-4, 2 KOs). Referee Every had their four-round super bantamweight fight 40-36.
Frankie Wood (5-0, 2 KOs) won via sixth round technical knockout against Callum Lee Smith (8-1, 1 KO). The official time of stoppage for this six-round featherweight contest was 1:21. Smith was dropped in the sixth by a right hook to the head. He struggled to get to his feet, causing referee Amy Pu to put an end to proceedings.
