Both Fighters Won Last Time Out

The undefeated big-punching Mexican Zepeda will be eager to extend his 100% record and impressive KO percentage. He was last seen in the ring against Maxi Hughes, who he demolished in four rounds. He is a great pressure fighter who works well off his jab and throws a large volume of accurate punches, making him an absolute nightmare.

Cabrera, fighting out of Chicago, Illinois, has only one defeat on his record, a narrow split decision loss to Isaac Cruz. His last performance saw him win comfortably by unanimous decision against Ricardo Quiroz. He moves his feet well and puts together combinations. He won’t be an easy target for Zepeda to find and will need to control the distance and not let the Mexican southpaw get in range.

William Zepeda Quotes

“This fight will be a very competitive fight and a very complicated fight. We expect for Giovanni Cabrera to come with everything that he has, just like how he has done in his previous fights. We know that he is a very strong fighter; to be able to go 12-rounds with someone like Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz tells us he is a very powerful fighter.”

Giovanni Cabrera Quotes

“This fight is huge for me. This fight further proves what I believe I am capable of. I consider myself one of the top lightweights in the world. I’ve defeated seven previously undefeated fighters; I am used to fighting undefeated fighters, and this is exciting for me. These are the kind of fights that motivate me to rise to the occasion and just reach newer levels. I have great respect for William. He is brave and he has the balls to put his undefeated record on the line against me.”
