On May 14, 2022, Yoka suffered his first career defeat against Martin Bakole, losing by majority decision. Yoka was dropped twice in the fight and was out-fought for most of the contest. Two further defeats followed against Carlos Takam and Ryad Merhy.

The Frenchman has won his last three fights, including last time out against Arslan Yallyev, winning by unanimous decision with scores of 98-92, 96-94 and 97-93.

Yoka is also an impressive body puncher, and this, combined with his power, means he can end fights in a split second. Yoka’s next chapter might just be the breakout act for the 33-year-old Paris native.
