Queensberry Promotions Secures Future of Six Top Fighters

Queensberry Promotions have enjoyed a successful 2024, including their comprehensive victory over Matchroom boxing in the 5v5 event. They have also signed a plethora of new talent to their roster, including Fabio Wardley and Lewis Williams. Queensberry and Frank Warren have now announced that six fantastic fighters have signed new, long-term deals with the promotional giant.

Queensberry Promotions Announces New Long-Term Deals for Six Fighters

Hamzah Sheeraz

Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0, 17 KOs) is a leading contender in the middleweight division, stopping his last 15 opponents. He has now committed his long-term future to Queensberry, as he remains linked to a world title shot against Janibek Alimkhanuly.

His last two performances were impressive as he stopped Austin Williams before blowing away Tyler Denny on the Daniel Dubois-Anthony Joshua undercard.

Liam Davies

IBO super bantamweight titlist Liam Davies (16-0, 8 KOs) has committed his future to Queensberry ahead of his title defence against Shabaz Masoud. He is a fearless fighter who puts his punches together exceptionally well – and dazzled in his last fight, as he destroyed Erik Robles Ayala in round two.

Moses Itauma

Exciting heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma (10-8, 8 KOs) is a shining light in world boxing, tipped with reaching the very top. Commiting his future to Queensberry is a huge move for the stable as Itauma prepares to face Demsey McKean on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2.

His speed, movement and power make him a real problem for any top heavyweight in the world. His most recent performance saw him comprehensively beat Mariusz Wach.

Nick Ball

WBA world featherweight champion Nick Ball (21-0-1, 12 KOs) has fast become one of our favourite boxers to watch at Big Fight Weekend. His all-action style saw him rally brilliantly against Rey Vargas before beating Raymond Ford and most recently, Ronny Rios.

He throws an unbelievable amount of punches from various angles with plenty of power. His all-action style means he will attract an audience whenever he’s fighting.

Anthony Cacace

IBF super featherweight champion Anthony Cacace (23-1, 8 KOs) is the perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. His knockout ratio doesn’t suggest he carries a huge amount of power, but his performance against Joe Cordina showed us otherwise. He landed power punch after power punch with the hooks carrying plenty of spite. The Belfast native most recently beat Josh Warrington and looks set for a big 2025, now he has extended his stay with Queensberry.

Sam Noakes

Sam Noakes (15-0, 14 KOs) is a huge success story – becoming the British, Commonwealth and European lightweight champion. His impressive power has seen him mow down all but one opponent inside the distance. His recent triumph saw him stop Gianluca Ceglia in round eight of their EBU European lightweight title. Committing his long-term future to Queensberry will help ensure the heavy-handed lightweight contender will continue to move up the levels of competition.

Frank Warren Reacts

Frank Warren reflected on a great day for Queensberry with these fighters committing their long-term futures: I am thrilled to secure the futures of eight such richly talented fighters.

He continued: We have worked with nearly all of them right from the beginning or very early in their careers and the faith we have shown in each other has been rewarded by them realising their potential and justifying the belief we had in them.”

Expressing his pleasure at the deals, Warren said: “That Nick Ball, Anto Cacace and Liam Davies have reached world title status is a particular joy, and the good news is that I am certain there are more world champions to come from this group, who are all set for further exciting developments in the coming months.”
