Joe Joyce: ‘Excited to See It and Potentially Fight the Winner’ in Future Fight
The career of Joe Joyce (16-3, 15 KOs) is at a precarious stage following his defeat to Derek Chisora. “The Juggernaut” did defeat Kash Ali in an uninspiring win, which followed back-to-back defeats against Zhilei Zhang. Many have written off Joyce, but he will return on March 1 to face Patrick Korte and still harbours ambitions to face the best heavyweights in the world. When speaking to Queensberry Promotions, “The Juggernaut” has recently revealed he wants to face the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker.

Joyce enjoyed an impressive amateur career, winning a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics. The Brit was flying high after his win over Joseph Parker, but three defeats in his last four fights have left him on the heavyweight scrap heap.

Despite recent setbacks, Joyce has made it clear he still has his eyes on a world title shot and has said he wants to face the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker: “It’s a good fight,” Joyce said. “I’m excited to see it and potentially fight the winner.”
Adam Morallee Backs Joe Joyce
Following Joyce’s loss to Chisora, his manager Adam Morallee spoke to Seconds Out about the future of “The Juggernaut” and said: “Joe isn’t the sort of person that should be wheeled out and turned into a gatekeeper or a journeyman, that is not what Joe Joyce should be doing.”

“The minute that he starts to not be able to seriously compete at the top level, I think Joe should retire, but he is not there, a fight between him and Daniel Dubois would be very competitive,” added Morallee.
After three defeats in his last four bouts, it’s difficult to see the London-born fighter return to the heavyweight top table. His ability of being able to walk through punches has seemingly deserted him in recent fights. “The Juggernaut” has it all to prove.
