Crawford and Spence go at it on social media
For Terence Crawford, the war of words against Errol Spence continued as both took his social media pages to unleash the latest round of shots at fans of the unified welterweight champ.
Sunday night, Spence took to social and responded to fans asking about a possible welterweight matchup.
“Bob say I won’t be back no time soon”
That is in response to a claim that Top Rank CEO Bob Arum made following Spence’s car accident that he wouldn’t return to boxing. Since then, Spence has made an appearance to state otherwise.

Crawford had a chance to respond to Errol Spence and his fans Sunday night:
“Keep defending him because I’m tell all y’all now and I mean what I say when that day come when I knock him all I want all y’all to keep that same energy because he gone cry in the car he wasn’t built for this shit I got over here just watch me show the world,” Crawford tweeted.

Anyone keeping an eye on Crawford these past few weeks, he’s been in attack mode on social media to anyone who has anything to say. To round out the year, Crawford and Gervonta Davis went at it on social media over Davis’s win over common opponent Yurikois Gamboa.
What this boils down to is the same issue that’s been going on between these two for what seems an eternity now. Both have had this back and forth, and Crawford has been all over various networks, asking for a fight with Spence. Spence is recovering from his horrific one-car accident back in October and is slated to make a return sometime this spring in the ring. By the sounds of Crawford’s tweet’s late Sunday night, that return isn’t against him.
