Charlie Edwards recent form

Edwards (21-2, 7 KOs) has operated at the highest level, sharing a ring with Julio Cesar Martinez and John Riel Casimero, among others. In more recent years, Edwards has become more active and despite a defeat to Andrew Cain at Bantamweight, the Surrey fighter has worked his way into this IBF super flyweight final eliminator. Last time out, Edwards defeated Salvador Juarez.

Sikho Nqothole recent form

Nqothole (21-3, 13 KOs) has recovered well since losing to Rene Calixto, winning his last three fights, including last time out against Halid Kalama.

The South African will be an unknown quantity to many. He controls the distance well in his fights, utilising his jab. He boxes with poise and doesn’t rush his work. He also carries some power.

Charlie Edwards vs Sikho Nqothole prediction

As mentioned, Edwards has operated at a high level. His slick footwork enables him to move in and out of danger effortlessly. While not a big puncher, he picks his punches impressively. He has endured tough moments in and outside the ring, but seems to be in a good place now.

We are backing Edwards’ impressive footwork and general ring IQ to be too much for Nqothole.
