George Groves gives Tyson Fury honest warning ahead of Makhmudov comeback fight

At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 11, Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov headlines The Ring’s latest fight card. The return of “The Gypsy King” will be broadcast globally on Netflix, and it remains to be seen just how much Fury has left.

The undercard and prelims have been confirmed, but all eyes will be on the main event. Ahead of the heavyweight bout, George Groves has delivered a warning for Tyson Fury ahead of his comeback fight in London.

Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov: George Groves delivers warning

Discussing potential problems for Tyson Fury ahead of his comeback on April 11 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Groves said:

“I think this could be a tough one for Tyson Fury. He’s been out of the gym, or at least out of the ring, for quite a long time now. At that age, your body starts to change a little bit. It doesn’t quite have the same gears that he used to have.

“So, he’s time and time again gone through his career, where he must have fluctuated in weight. Got really heavy, then got fit and got light. But, each and every time you do that, it takes a little bit out of you. And then maybe when the body says I’m ready to start calling it a day soon. When you decide to whip it back into shape, the reaction time just ain’t quite there.”
