Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul – Lamont Roach Jr delivers his prediction

Joshua vs Paul has upset many but intrigued others. But one thing is certain: many will be tuning in on November 19. Doubts regarding both fighters need to be answered, and Roach Jr gave his honest thoughts on the bout:

“My first thought was ‘This guy is crazy.’ Not gonna lie. But I get it. Coming from a guy who’s not a true traditional boxer, and to be able to have a position where he can fight a former unified world champion, former Olympic gold medallist, and to do it on such a stage where Anthony Joshua was a superstar as well.

“He sold out the O2 (Arena) twice, I think. So, I think Jake is setting himself up for a huge spectacle, which is kind of smart. If you’re gonna go big, why not go to the highest mountain?” said Roach Jr.

When asked for his prediction, Roach Jr said: “I think he (Paul) gets hurt for sure. I think he gets obliterated. Something close to Francis Ngannou. I think something like that happens. It’s going to be bad for him, but there will be a lot of viewers, and there will be damn sure a lot of money.”
