Since then, it’s become clear there is no love lost between the two. This fight finally moved closer after the UK Anti-Doping and British Board of Boxing Control decided not to appeal the liting of Benn’s suspension.

Bellew offered his insights into the fight: “The first six rounds will belong to Conor Benn. He will not be able to keep Conor Benn off for six rounds. If he is able to absorb what Conor Benn is able to dish out for six rounds, the fight then turns in his favour, because the second six, that’s when size does come into play.”

Looking at the best opportunities for both, Bellew first spoke regarding Benn: “I think his only chance is winning in the first six rounds, if I’m being totally honest and I think Eubank really comes into play after six rounds. I think that’s when he can wear him down and get rid of him.”
