“They’re the ones that are more or less there right now,” Reynoso said. “You can also hear about Crawford for September, but really right now, we still don’t fear anything. I think it will take about 15 more days.”
The undisputed super middleweight champion recently met with Turki Alalshikh in London to further plan out his future fights. Canelo said during The Ring Awards: “We’re here to make the best deals, and always the chance [to face Crawford],”
Canelo Recent Form
Premier Boxing Champions and TGB Promotions have overseen the last three fights for Canelo, against Edgar Berlanga, Jaime Munguia, and Jermell Charlo. The Mexican was dominant in each bout, knocking his opponent down and cruising to a wide decision win.
Despite being stripped of his IBF title in July for not facing Scull, the Mexican is considered by many as the king of the super middleweight division.

A bout against the Cuban fighter Scull would present Canelo with an opportunity to become an undisputed champion once again. This would then give Crawford the unique opportunity to become a three-weight undisputed champion.
Whether it’s Scull or Mbilli in May, Terence Crawford appears to be waiting in the wings for September, setting up a historic mega-fight that will have the sporting world watching.
