Their clash is the main event of an October 14 Teiken Promotions card at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. Boxing fans in Japan can catch the action live on Prime Video. Those in the United States can do so with ESPN+. Sky Sports+ will broadcast the card for those in the United Kingdom. The day prior, boxing fans can watch the Takuma Inoue vs. Seiya Tsutsumi card through the same outlets.

At just 26 years of age, Nakatani has won world titles across three weight classes. He is rated highly by many. Salapat has only lost once as a professional and that was back in 2018 against Takuma Inoue. Back then, Salapat wound up losing wide on the scorecards. Expect Nakatani to dominate this bout and win via stoppage in the middle rounds.
Anthony Olascuaga vs. Jonathan González
Anthony Olascuaga (7-1, 5 KOs) will defend his WBO flyweight title against Jonathan González (28-3-1, 14 KOs, 1 NC). González will be moving up from light flyweight where he was formerly world champion. Olascuaga has the power to make this difficult for the Puerto Rican. However, González’s experience could allow him to take this the distance. In the end, however, expect a unanimous decision win for Olascuaga.
Kosei Tanaka vs. Phumelele Cafu
Kosei Tanaka (20-1, 11 KOs) will defend his WBO super flyweight title against Phumelele Cafu (10-0-3, 8 KOs). Tanaka is another talented fighter out of Japan who has won world titles across four weight classes. Cafu has done well in the South African boxing scene, but this should be a step too far for him. Given that Tanaka started at 105 lbs and is now competing at 115 lbs, this should go the distance. Expect Tanaka to win via unanimous decision.
