Taylor-Giyasov, faceoff on Rungvisai-Estrada 2 undercard
Star Boxing’s own Emanuel “Tranzforma” Taylor (20-5 14 KOs) will face undefeated Uzbekistan contender Shakhram “Wonder Boy” Giyasov (7-0 6 KOs) at the Forum in Inglewood, California. The two fighters will be featured on the undercard of the highly anticipated rematch between WBC World Super Flyweight Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (47-4-1 40 KO’s) and former WBA and WBO World Flyweight titleholder Juan Francisco Estrada (38-3 26KO’s), live on the streaming service, DAZN.
Both fighters looked to be in top form at the weigh-in today, ahead of tomorrow’s bout on DAZN. The Maryland product, Emanuel Taylor, weighed in at 139.6 lbs, Shakhram Giyasov, hit the scales at 139.6 lbs in this super lightweight matchup.

Taylor hits the ring for the first time since May of 2017, when he was defeated by recently retired Argentian star and former super lightweight World Champion, Lucas Matthysse (39-5 36 KOs).
While Giyasov does not have the professional resume of Taylor, he is an amateur standout from Uzbekistan, having earned a silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympic games, and later won the Amateur World Championship Title in 2017. In his last bout, Giyasov has defeated former world title challenger, Edgar Puerta (25-12-1 19 KOs) back in February.
Bidding for the fight of the night on a very stacked card, Taylor and Giyasov are ready to bring the action. Both fighters have serious punching ability with Taylor has a 70% knockout ratio, while Giyasov is at 86%. With numbers that high, one is assuming that one of these two is likely not going to be standing at the final bell. This will also be a test for Giyasov, as this fight will show how much he has grown and is able to hang against the battle-tested Taylor, who is looking to add a big name victory onto his resume.
Giyasov vs Taylor is set to go live on the undercard starting at 7:30 p.m.ET/4:30 p.m. PT.
