The Limerick fighter started brightly, mixing his shots impressively and hurting his opponent with a straight left in the opening round.
A glancing left uppercut saw Donovan score a knockdown, with Barabasz protesting it was a slip. The Polish fighter had some success in the final round, but it was ultimately an assured performance from the Irish southpaw. The referee scored the fight 39-36.
