Jake Paul Could Face Three New Opponents This Year After His Win Against Mike Tyson

Despite beating boxing legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision last year, Jake Paul hasn’t secured much in the way of fan support. The leading reason comes from the fact that Paul is considerably younger than Tyson. As for “Iron Mike” himself, he is all but retired, having not fought in paid ranks for almost two decades. Jake Paul, on the other hand, has been training at a professional level since 2020. Both these factors mean that Paul’s win was a difficult watch for fans and left many in the boxing world with a sour taste in their mouths.

In order to prove himself a skilled boxer, Paul knows that he needs to win several matches against other professionals closer to himself in age and ability, and there are a number of theories circulating about who those individuals might be.

Whether he goes up against any of these three, or someone else entirely, remember that you can place bets hassle-free on Paul or his opponents on a number of no-verification betting sites. These sites allow you to bet immediately, while keeping your information secure, and without the need to supply documents. With many of these sites requiring no know your customer checks you can rest assured that they have your privacy and security in mind.

Looking at Three Potential Opponents for Jake Paul

Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury

Cruiserweight, Tommy Fury is the only boxer who has won a professional match against Paul. The fight took place early in 2023, and although a rematch was supposed to occur shortly after, this never came to fruition. Winning a fight against Fury would enable Paul to rebuild his reputation in the boxing world and gain him newfound respect from fans and competitors. With this in mind, it’s a safe bet to assume this match might be taking place in the near future.

Jake Paul vs. Julio César Chávez Jr.

In December last year, Paul claimed he had no intention of fighting the former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, instead claiming to be seeking ‘tougher’ opponents. Despite this, a match could still be in the cards. It wouldn’t be beyond the former YouTube star, who goes by the boxing alias of ‘The Problem Child’ to bluff about his upcoming matches and Chavez Jr has admitted that there’s been some interest in arranging a match between himself and Paul in the past.

Such a fight would be sure to gain some respect for Paul, especially if it ends in a win. Even though, at 38, Chavez Jr’s prime fighting days are in the past, he still has a strong reputation, and a win against him would do Paul a world of favours when it comes to gaining some support.

Darren Till

Darren Till, the former UFC welterweight champion, may be in line for a fight against Paul. After his win against Anthony Taylor in January of this year, the boxer took to X to tease a potential fight. He wrote “Just had some potential big fight news that could happen in the summer #Anfield #JP #paul #Jake’ The tease isn’t exactly cryptic, so a fight between Paul and Till could take place later this year.
