On Friday, March 8, Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) will take on former UFC champion Francis Ngannou (0-1 in boxing, 17-3 in MMA) at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As we get closer to fight night, British heavyweight Matty Harris, who sparred with both, has made his prediction to Danny Flexen at Seconds Out – for the main event at “Knockout Chaos.”

Harris Talks Past Sparring Sessions

After discussing his first professional defeat against Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko and moving to the Peter Fury stable, Harris was asked about the many heavyweights he has sparred with, and he confirmed he has sparred with Ngannou and Tom Aspinall.

When asked about his sparring experience with AJ, he explained it was around one year ago. Harris was then asked how he weighs the fight up, and without hesitation, he said: “AJ goes through him, nah AJ goes through him.” After making his prediction, “Magic” spoke about the challenge that Ngannou presents and specified “his physical strength.” He continued: “Hes an incredibly strong individual.”

Knockout Chaos Fight Card

The undercard on March 8 is beginning to take shape, with Joseph Parker taking on Zhilei Zhang and Nick Ball challenging Rey Vargas, with some bouts still to be finalised. Rumours have surfaced that Magomed Kurbanov and Israil Madrimov for the WBA super welterweight world title could be added to the card, pending final approval from the Saudis.
