Fury will not face Joshua if he loses to Ruiz
Tyson Fury, never one to pass up a chance to take shots at fellow heavyweights, had an opportunity to do just that on Wednesday.
Fury spoke with Sky Sports ahead of his wrestling match with “The Monster Among Men” Braun Stroman on the WWE Network this Thursday. He advised that fellow Brit Anthony Joshua will never see him in the ring if he loses the rematch against Andy Ruiz on December 7th.
“Well, if he gets knocked out again there’s no chance, is there, that’s for sure,” said Fury to Sky Sports.

Fury is slated to be in a boxing match by all accounts against Denotay Wilder in 2020 for the anticipated rematch. Like that fight, Fury mentioned that if he were to face Joshua, it would be somewhere in the United States.
“If we were to fight, if he did win this fight, then all my fights have to be in America now, so unless they’re willing to travel to the US, which after his last visit, I don’t think he’ll be too happy on going,” Fury said “Then it’s not happening any time soon, that’s for sure.
The last visit Fury is, of course, talking about is the one that cost Joshua his WBO, WBA, and IBF titles in June to the hands of Andy Ruiz. In when the match between him and Joshua would take place, Fury did say relatively speaking not soon.
“Not very near future no, but never say never,” Fury mentioned.
Fury also didn’t have a dog in the fight when picking the winner of the Ruiz-Joshua II rematch later on in the year.
“It doesn’t really matter what my prediction is, does it, because I’m not anything to do with the fight. It’s really unimportant what I say.
“I’ve not got no influence in it, so whatever I say is not really important, especially against rivals anyway. I think they’re both bums, and they are both not in my league. That’s what I say about it.”
“But no-one wants to hear that. My mother always said, if you can’t say nothing nice, don’t say it at all, so I’m just going to keep my mouth shut on this one.”
Win, lose or draw, don’t expect a match of Fury and Joshua anytime soon as this in all seriousness hasn’t been proposed before. This, like more opportunities for Fury, never gives up on a chance to take shots at others.
