The Culinary Fighter To Air On Players TV
Phil Lo Greco will be back in the kitchen for the world to see sooner than you think.
Lo Greco today announced that his program “The Culinary Fighter” signed a distribution deal with Players TV to begin airing Season One of the program. The Culinary Fighter will air on Sundays at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET starting on April 18th. Players TV is a channel on all Samsung Smart televisions, Sling TV, Vizio, and Roku devices.
Lo Greco is no stranger to being ahead of the curve as The Culinary Fighter program developed by Lo Greco was the first of its kind, mixing pro-athlete conversations and food. That broad appeal is what helped springboard notoriety for Lo Greco to land an opportunity to face Amir Khan back in 2018.
“I saw that it was content that was missing in the fight game as I saw a lot of fighters, including myself, in interviews. Why am I so edgy? Why am I such an a-hole when I do interviews? Put my favorite food in front of me, ask me some questions, and you’ll get the best response out of me,” Lo Greco said about what was got him to start The Culinary Fighter to Big Fight Weekend.
I'm excited to announce I've signed a distribution deal with @ThePlayersTV for Season 1 of my boxing series Culinary Fighter.

“(Producer and Head of Production at PlayersTV) Jay (Chaudhry) was able to pick up my vision and make that vision a reality of how I wanted it to look like, and we put together the first sports food and travel show,” Lo Greco said.”It took a while to get picked up and was pitched to other networks, but Players TV is the new generation. They see the vision and bought the project back to life.”
PlayersTV connects athletes and their fans. The unique channel provides a look into athlete’s passions, interests, and off-the-field pursuits. It blends various mediums from comedies and documentaries to reality shows and podcasts; all centered on sports, culture, and lifestyle. Its content is a natural fit for a lean-back, linear viewing experience and offers a glimpse into professional athletes’ fascinating and inspiring lives.
“The food and travel sector is always a major key part in sports as it allows access to the athlete in a very humane way that fans don’t get in a normal interview, ” Executive producer Jay Chaudhry noted. “For us to get fans access to the athlete, we try to create that original content that fans can get a different perspective of them. We’re changing the game of athlete content, reimagining food and travel seen in sports.”
Players TV currently has an impressive list of already high-caliber athletes such as boxing enthusiasts and NBA superstars Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, CJ McCollum, and NFL stars Vernon Davis and Travis Kelce. Lo Grecos show will definitely mark an impressive addition to their programming slate, being the first boxing series to the channel.
“You’re going to get the best out of the favorite athlete. It’s going to be something fans will look forward to as they figure out what is their favorite is going to eat,” Lo Greco said.
