‘Night of Champions’: BoxLab Promotions Brings Action-Packed Boxing Event to DAZN

On Friday, May 31, at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida, Boxlab Promotions will host their “Night of Champions” boxing event live on DAZN. The card will feature a plethora of up-and-coming fighters, with decorated Cuban amateur Kevin Brown appearing alongside unbeaten heavyweight sensation Gurgen Hovhannisyan. It promises to be a great night of boxing, with Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions, expressing his excitement regarding the upcoming card.

In the headline event, we will see a 10-round WBA Continental super lightweight title clash with Kevin Brown (4-0, 3 KOs), the decorated Cuban amateur taking on fellow Cuban Idalberto Umara (12-2, 8 KOs). It promises to be an entertaining fight, with both proving they carry power. Brown has had all his professional fights at the Caribe Royale Orlando and will look to continue his super lightweight ascent at the venue. His most recent fight saw him defeat Marcos Leonardo Jimenez.

The co-main event will see Armenian-born heavyweight sensation – Gurgen Hovhannisyan (5-0, 5 KOs) take on the hard-hitting Mexican Luis Pascual (19-10, 17 KOs). Hovhannisyan has shown in his five fights he carries devastating power and can end a fight in a slit second. The Armenian fighter, residing in LA – has shown impressive boxing skills with a highly effective jab. We are seemingly guaranteed plenty of fireworks, with the punching power of both.
