Efe Ajagba vs. Charles Martin fight recap
Efe Ajagba (21-1-1, 15 KOs) returned to knocking out opponents with a fourth round technical stoppage of Charles Martin (30-5-1, 27 KOs).
The official time of stoppage for this 10-round heavyweight clash was 1:11. Ajagba returns to the win column after drawing against Martin Bakole in his only fight of 2025. This was also his first stoppage win since a technical knockout of Joseph Goodall in 2023.
Punch out was low in the opening round, but both men were able to connect on some of the singular shots they threw. Martin mainly moved of his back foot in the second. He connected with straight punches at the end of round two that sent his opponent back slightly.
Martin was more aggressive in the third. With just over a minute to go in the round, Ajagba landed a straight right to the head that sent the former champion down. Although Martin got up, he was pursued around the ring and got hit with several hard shots. There was brief respite for him when time was called to put his mouthguard back in, but the fight’s end was near.
