Lewis Crocker vs. Paddy Donovan: Press Conference Quotes and Fight Prediction
Lewis Crocker (20-0, 11 KOs) and Paddy Donovan (14-0, 11 KOs) will soon clash in a welterweight fight.
Their 12-round bout headlines a Matchroom Boxing card at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Fight fans around the world can catch the action live on DAZN. Ahead of their March 1 contest, both men spoke at a press conference. Below is some of what they had to say.

“Like I’ve always said, Paddy [Donovan]‘s good,” said Crocker. “He’s saying [he’s] the next superstar and stuff and I’m only a British-level fighter in his eyes, so I feel like all the pressure’s on him. He should be taking me out here, one or two rounds if that’s the case, but, I’m here to upset the party.”

“We’ve prepared for everything. [Donovan’s] probably gonna do both [box aggressively and off of the back foot]. So, we’re as good as we’re ever going to be throughout camp so I’m looking forward to the scrap on Saturday.”
Paddy Donovan
“Thanks to everybody that turned out, for me and Lewis [Crocker],” said Donovan. “We really appreciate it. I’m ready. I’m in the best shape of my life…We’re here in Belfast ready to put on a show.”

“Look, me and Andy [Lee] always put in the work. We never take shortcuts no matter who I fight. I don’t know how Lewis’s camp has gone, but mine has gone absolutely brilliant. We worked really, really hard. We’re here and I’m ready. It’s just as simple as that. The talking is done and I’m ready to fight.”
Fight Prediction
Between the two, Donovan has the highest knockout percentage. Regardless of what Crocker does, expect the man from Limerick to outbox the Belfast native. However, Crocker will not be easy to stop. Expect to fight to go the distance but with Donovan ultimately winning via unanimous decision.
