Jake Paul promises explosive Nov. 14 night from ‘two biggest fighters in America’

On November 14, Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis will headline a Most Valuable Promotions card live on Netflix at the Kaseya Center. The main event is not a fight many would have had on their 2025 boxing bingo card, but here we are. 

On September 23 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, Paul and Davis faced off at a press conference for the November showdown. 

During an eventful press conference, “El Gallo” discussed the magnitude of the event and promised a brutal ending.

Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis – the rules revealed for November 14

At the New York presser, the rules for this highly anticipated exhibition were revealed by Nakisa Bidarian:
  • Both fighters will wear 12-ounce gloves.
  • The weight limit for the fight will be 195 pounds.
  • Three ringside judges will score the contest.
Bidarian explained to the press:
“There will be a victor because the fighters have agreed, and the commission has approved,” revealed Bidarian when speaking to the press in attendance.
“[There will be] a maximum weight of 195 pounds for this exhibition. The fight will be contested over 10, three-minute rounds, and when Tank and Jake enter the squared circle to go to battle, they will be wearing 12-ounce gloves.
“Sitting ringside will be three commission-approved world-class professional judges that will score every round to ensure there’s a decisive outcome for the fight if it goes the distance.”

Jake Paul sets the scene for November 14 showdown vs Gervonta Davis

Revealing what fans can expect on November 14, Paul said: 

“You’re gonna see the two biggest fighters in America go head to head with an amazing card. World championship fights back to back to back. This is the most risky fight that Gervonta could take in boxing…..so, respect to him, it’s gonna be a show and, and we can talk our sh*t at the end of the day, but people are gonna tune in and we’re both gonna show out and someone’s getting put to sleep.”

This exhibition has angered many, but just as many will be tuning in on November 14, with the fight streaming on Netflix. The undercard is also taking shape, with Alycia Baumgardner and Ellie Scotney set to appear.
