The first Elite World Boxing Championships will take place from September 4-14 at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England. This is a landmark event, with World Boxing now recognised by the International Olympic Committee as the international governing body for amateur boxing, ensuring the sport’s place at the Summer Olympics from 2028 onwards. Here are the 16 fighters selected for Team GB Boxing and the four boxers picked to represent England Boxing, who are competing at non-Olympic weights.
