Nick Ball vs Brandon Figueroa: February 7

On February 7, at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, Nick Ball (23-0-1, 13 KOs) defends his WBA featherweight title against Brandon Figueroa (26-2-1, 19 KOs).

Ball continues to chase down unification fights while dealing with everyone in between. His all-action style has made him a favourite boxer to watch for many. Figueroa is relentless himself and has the ability to maintain a high work rate for the entire fight.

Ball-Figueroa should ignite and give us plenty of fireworks. We’re going for Ball to win a competitive unanimous decision.

Mario Barrios vs Ryan Garcia: February 21

Next up on our fights to watch on the February boxing schedule is Mario Barrios (29-2-2, 18 KOs) vs Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) for Barrios’ WBC welterweight title. They will meet at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas live on February 21.

Barrios is often dismissed by many, despite being the current WBC champion. When he uses his height and reach, he has the ability to control fights and keep fighters at bay. He has proven he has an effective jab and KO power. Barrios is disciplined and has proven he can grind it out and turn fights around.

Garcia, at his best, brings speed and power to the ring and is capable of troubling any high-level fighter. His left hook is his signature shot, and it’s a punch that can end a fight. At his quickest, his speed is staggering, and Barrios will need to control the distance and not let “Kingry” close the distance.

Emanuel Navarrete vs Eduardo Nunez: February 28

The last fight on our February boxing schedule to watch is a potential barnburner between Emanuel Navarrete and Eduardo Nunez. These two heavy-handed super featherweights will meet at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale in a WBO/IBF super featherweight unification bout.

Nunez (29-1, 27 KOs) is a huge puncher. Aside from his obvious power, he doesn’t rush his work and picks his openings impressively. Navarrete (39-2-1, 32 KOs) also has plenty of power, but his movement poses another problem for opponents. He punches from unusual angles, and this could cause Nunez problems.

Both carry their power through to the end of fights and have shown they can be hurt. This is a fight that can’t be missed!
