On April 26 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn (23-1, 14 KOs) served up an all-British classic. 

The buildup was full of hatred and intrigue, with the fight exceeding expectations, with its non-stop action from the first to the last bell.

Eubank Jr (35-3, 25 KOs) produced the cleaner work and deserved his 116-112 x3 unanimous decision win.

Both fighters came out of the first bout with their reputations enhanced. Fisher, also training in Tony Sims’ gym, has seen Benn up close during the build-up and feels his stablemate will gain revenge:

“He’s got a great team of people around him and it’s a massive, massive fight. He beats Chris Eubank here this time, and the first fight was very close. The second one is obviously gonna be a career defining fight for him. And if he wins, he goes on to win world titles. I think the freshness of Conor Benn will see him over the line. Chris Eubank is 36 now and it’s hard to make that weight at his age as well.”
