Canelo Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs) vs Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) is set for September 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. This huge event will be promoted by Zuffa, Sela and Riyadh Season, and will stream live on Netflix to its 300 million subscribers. Amir Khan enjoyed a decorated amateur and professional career and shared a ring with both fighters. Khan recently spoke to Fight Hub TV and broke down Canelo vs Crawford.

Many are already looking forward to Canelo vs Crawford, and recently, the undercard for fight night was confirmed, with Callum Walsh vs Fernando Vargas Jr, Christian Mbilli vs Lester Martinez and Mohammed Alakel vs John Ornelas all set to fight.

The excitement regarding the whole event appears to be building, and when speaking to Fight Hub TV, Khan spoke about Canelo vs Crawford: “He might be even stronger than Canelo. He might put the weight on well. He might do really well in there,” Khan said regarding Canelo vs Crawford.

Discussing the difference between Canelo and Crawford, Khan said: “Canelo’s stronger and he’s easily hit. Very easily hit, very easily. Compared to when I fought against Crawford. Crawford, I couldn’t hit clean. So really, that’s the difference. And they both hit hard. You can see their strength. You know, when I was fighting against Crawford, I didn’t think Crawford was that strong, but when he kind of moved me around a little bit, he is very strong as well.

 “So look, why does he (Crawford) need to give that much (weight) away? He’s pound-for-pound number one in the world. Why does he have to go fight Canelo?”

Canelo vs Crawford will draw massive attention from across the globe, promising plenty of intrigue in the build-up and on fight night itself. How each deals with the other’s power will be key. However, as Khan said, Crawford is hard to hit, and he will need to be elusive against Canelo. But the Mexican will look to cut the ring off, move his head and whip in vicious body shots.
