Sebastian Fundora Weighs In on Canelo vs Crawford Showdown
As we edge closer to Canelo vs. Crawford on September 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, anticipation is building across the sport, with many revealing their picks. A packed fight week schedule will begin on September 9 with the grand arrivals and conclude with an entertaining fight night undercard, followed by the superfight main event. Can Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) become a three-division undisputed champion and four-division lineal champion? Or will Canelo (63-2-2, 39 KOs) retain his undisputed status and increase his already storied legacy? In a video posted by Fight Hub TV, current WBC super welterweight champion Sebastian Fundora revealed his pick for September 13.

Fundora Reveals His Pick for Canelo vs Crawford
In a media scrum, Fundora was asked if he favours Canelo or Crawford for September 13: “Canelo,” said Fundora without hesitation.
Fundora was then asked what the most significant part of that matchup was: “That he’s comfortable at 168, you know, that he’s been fighting there. He went to collect all the belts at that weight class. Of course, Crawford has a chance; he has a big chance, being one of the pound-for-pound fighters of the world. But it’s just…the advantage of being there first. You know what to expect in that weight class.
“Crawford’s coming off a 154 fight that he fought last year, so I really don’t consider him even a 154. He’s been fighting at 147 for a while. He had that one fight at 154, and then he stopped fighting for a year again. Of course, he’s probably been training, a high-class fighter. But to be comfortable at 168, you’re gonna have to do some fights in there.
“Going in there fighting the undisputed champion is gonna take a toll.”
