The Five Biggest Fights Left in 2025

So far in the 2025 boxing schedule, fans have witnessed several memorable fights. Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2, Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 3 and Hamzah Sheeraz vs Edgar Berlanga are just a few that have thrilled audiences around the world. The rest of 2025 promises even more excitement, with major bouts already confirmed and others rumoured. As boxing continues to deliver, UFC betting at NetBet is also gaining momentum among combat sports fans. Here are five must-watch fights to mark in your boxing schedule for the remainder of the year.

Boxing Schedule: Five Biggest Fights Left This Year

Moses Itauma vs Dillian Whyte

The biggest fight in August is undoubtedly Moses Itauma (12-0, 10 KOs) vs Dillian Whyte (31-3, 21 KOs) in Riyadh on August 16. This heavyweight bout will headline an Esports World Cup Fight Week fight card. Fight Fans can catch the action on DAZN in over 200 countries.

This feels very much like a crossroads fight, with Whyte surely looking to use his experience to upset his opponent. It feels like a tough ask for “The Body Snatcher,” who will be up against Itauma, who has blitzed through the competition thus far, including last time out against Mike Balogun. Will experience be enough to derail the seemingly unstoppable Itauma train?

Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford

On September 13, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) and Canelo (63-2-2, 39 KOs) will collide live on Netflix to over 300 million subscribers. These two titans of the sport will meet for the undisputed super middleweight crown.

Alvarez will need to cut the ring off effectively and try to land body shots to slow Crawford down. “Bud” will surely look to stay mobile and potshot, while picking his moments to engage. What a fight this should be.

David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde

On November 22, on the Ring IV fight card, David Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) vs Anthony Yarde (27-3, 24 KOs) will face off, in what seems like a true war between two heavy-handed light heavyweights. Benavidez’s WBC title will be up for grabs at the ANB Arena in Riyadh.

This is a straight fire-fight, and it’s difficult to see it going the 12 rounds. The relentless pressure tactics and heavy hands of Benavidez ensure he will not take a step back. Yarde has fast hands, good timing and plenty of power. Mix these two styles, and you get box office entertainment.

Lewis Crocker vs Paddy Donovan

The first fight between Paddy Donovan (14-1, 11 KOs) and Lewis Crocker (21-0, 11 KOs) was a controversial bout that demanded a rematch, and we are set to get that rematch on September 13 at Windsor Park in Belfast.

These two Irish fighters will meet for the vacant IBF welterweight title. Crocker will need to control the distance and use his jab to stop Donovan from getting inside and letting his combinations flow. Donovan will be looking to utilise his excellent footwork while showcasing his impressive accuracy. The atmosphere should be special, and so should the main event itself.

Jesse Rodriguez vs Fernando Martinez

The last fight of our five fights to watch on the remainder of the 2025 boxing schedule is Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez vs Fernando “Puma” Martinez on November 22. These two super flyweight boxers will collide in a unification fight with the WBC/WBO and WBA titles up for grabs.

Rodriguez (22-0, 15 KOs) has dazzled in his professional career so far, showcasing sharp movement and precise punching. His resume already includes standout wins over Sunny Edwards, Juan Francisco Estrada and most recently Phumelela Cafu.

Martinez (18-0, 9 KOs) is a high-volume, accurate puncher who will look to push Rodriguez back and apply constant pressure. He’ll aim to slow Bam down and force him to second-guess his own offence.

These five fights on the remaining 2025 boxing schedule have certainly caught our attention, but which ones are you most excited for?
