There’s no second-guessing the resume of unified welterweight champion Terence Crawford who dismantled Errol Spence Jr. and holds notable wins over Shawn Porter and Egidijus Kavaliauskas. He’s been world champion in three weight classes and has held the undisputed status in the super lightweight and welterweight divisions. Stepping up to welterweight offers the Omaha native the chance to create history and become a world champion in a fourth weight class.

A fight against“Boots” Ennis has been spoken about by many, but “Bud” was quick to dismiss this fight as an option when speaking to Hewani: “I’m looking at the fight which makes the most sense and that is not “Boots”.“
Crawford went on to speak about his desire for legacy: “Canelo is going to add way more to my legacy, way more to my bank account.”
