Lamont Roach slams Tank Davis ahead of Jake Paul fight
On November 14, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, Jake Paul vs Tank will headline a Most Valuable Promotions fight card live on Netflix.
This 10-round exhibition has attracted considerable criticism, primarily due to the significant weight disparity between the fighters.
Lamont Roach was ready to face Davis after their controversial draw, but this new move by Davis has angered Roach, who recently spoke to the media, taking aim at the fight, while accusing Davis of ducking him.

Discussing Tank vs Jake Paul, Roach said: “He went and took a circus show fight, and you know, he said he was gonna retire. I believe him.”
When asked why Roach believes Jake Paul vs Tank is a circus show fight, he said:
“It’s just for s***s and giggles. Jake Paul’s f***ing 200 pounds, and he’s whatever he is, so…”
Roach was also asked if he believes Davis has ducked him:
“For sure, you can call a spade a spade, for sure,” said Roach.
“We’re contracted to fight, and you go and take another fight, you breach that contract, and you go take another fight, that’s a clear duck, added Roach.”
