MVP Announces Their First Ever Fight Card in Canada

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) have officially announced their first-ever Canadian fight card.

The main event will see Lucas Bahdi (18-0, 15 KOs) and Ryan Racaza (15-0, 11 KOs) clash in a 10-round lightweight contest at the Great Canadian Casino Resort in Toronto, Canada, on March 7. United Boxing Promotions are the official licensed promoter for the fight card. Boxing fans around the world will be able to catch the action live on DAZN.

MVP, cofounded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, made the announcement on Friday morning through a press release and later on social media. It will be their first time getting involved with a fight card being held in Canada. The event has been billed as “Most Valuable Prospects 11.”

Given Nakisa’s Toronto roots, this event is particularly meaningful, demonstrating our commitment to bringing world-class Canadian talent to the forefront and igniting a new era for boxing in Canada. Just prior to the main event, WBA light flyweight champion Sara Bailey (5-0, 0 KOs) will defend her title against an opponent to be announced at a later date.

“Thank you to United Boxing Promotions and Most Valuable Promotions for giving me the opportunity to defend my world title on such a big stage,” said Bailey in the press release.

“Bringing this level of boxing to Toronto is huge for the sport, and I’m grateful to MVP for putting a spotlight on women’s boxing and rising athletes with this event. Canada has a deep pool of talent and I’m looking forward to representing on Friday, March 7.”
