MVP Add US Olympian to Their Roster, Debut Fight Announced
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) have further bolstered their roster following the announcement that they’ve signed a US Olympian.
Jahmal Harvey, who fought as a featherweight at the 2024 Olympics held in Paris, was announced in a press release on Wednesday as the company’s latest signing. MVP also announced that he would be making his professional boxing debut on their August 22 show at the Caribe Royal Resort in Orlando, FL. The fight will be a six-rounder in the super featherweight division against Marcelo Del Aguila (5-1, 1 KO).
Harvey made it to the quarterfinals of the Olympics before narrowly losing to Munarbek Seitbek Uulu. In addition to being an Olympian, he also represented his country at the World Championships and the Pan American Games. Harvey won gold at both competitions.

In a press release, Harvey and MVP co-founders Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul provided statements regarding the signing.
“I’m signing with Most Valuable Promotions because I believe it’s the best fit for me to become MVP of the sport,” said Harvey. “Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian are changing the game and putting athletes on the biggest stages, and I’m excited to be part of it. We share a vision for my future and I can’t wait to start the journey with my pro debut on Friday, August 22.”
“I believe Jahmal Harvey is the most promising male boxing prospect to come out of Team USA this decade, with the potential to define the future of men’s professional boxing,” said Bidarian. “His natural talent combined with world-class work ethic and sheer passion for the sport are building blocks that will allow him to become a global star at MVP. Jahmal choosing to work with us is a reflection of MVP’s leadership in boxing for the next generation of boxers and fans. I look forward to his debut this month on Most Valuable Prospects 14 and I am confident he will make a statement from the moment he steps into the ring.”
“When I went to Colorado Springs with Team USA ahead of the Paris Olympics, I was able to meet Jahmal and the rest of the team while training with them and providing them with mental strength techniques,” said Paul. “Even among the best amateur talents in the US, Jahmal immediately stood out to me as the full package, with potential to become a future world champion and massive star with MVP.
