Title fights from around the world – Mizuki Hiruta dominant in yet another world title clash
Today, boxing world title fights take place around the globe and are more accessible to watch than ever before. Sometimes, championship bouts do not receive as much attention and go underreported. Big Fight Weekend commits to writing about boxing news, previews and recaps. As such, the site now has a recurring segment on championship bouts from around the world from the past week.
The focus of these pieces will be on clashes ranging from atomweight to heavyweight that had the WBA, WBC, IBF, and/or WBO titles on the line. This weekβs edition of βTitle Fights From Around the Worldβ consists of one recap. In the United States, a reigning super flyweight world champion made another successful defence of her belt.

Mizuki Hiruta vs. Gloria Gallardo fight recap
Mizuki Hiruta (10-0, 2 KOs) did not lose a single round on the scorecards in her unanimous decision win against Gloria Gallardo (16-4-3, 7 KOs, 1 NC).
Scores were 100-90 across the board. Hiruta makes a successful defence of her WBO super flyweight world title with the victory. She won the belt in 2022 against Kanako Taniyama. Hiruta has since defended the title six times.
Hiruta-Gallardo headlined a November 22 360 Promotions card at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA. Fight fans around the world could catch the action live on UFC Fight Pass.
Hiruta inflicted plenty of damage over 10 rounds. She started off by using her jab to prevent Gallardo from closing the distance. Hiruta’s accuracy eventually bloodied the nose of her opponent. No matter what Gallardo did, she could not find a way to gain the upper hand. The reigning champion remained busy and put a beating on the challenger. It came as no surprise that all three judges ringside had her winning 100-90.
