Ryan Bourland

On March 2, 2024, at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in Suan Juan, Puerto Rico, Jake Paul took on Ryan Bourland. It was another dominant performance by Paul as he got the job done early.

“The Problem Child” started well and got behind his jab early on – and worked off that well, firing to the head and body of his opponent. Paul soon rocked his opponent and pounced, taking apart Bourland with a good mix of heavy shots to knock down the Martinez native, with the referee deeming Bourland unable to continue, leaving Paul the winner by first-round TKO.

Andre August

Jake Paul faced Andre August on December 15 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. It was the first boxer Paul had faced since his defeat to Tommy Fury.

Paul began as the aggressor in the first round, picking his punches well against August who resembled a rabbit caught in headlights. With around 30 seconds left in the opening round, “The Problem Child” threw a jab, and followed up with a devastating uppercut, which sent August crashing to the canvas and signalled the end of the fight.

Nate Diaz

Following defeat to Fury, Paul returned to action and agreed to face former UFC star Nate Diaz. The fight produced impressive PPV numbers and was an important fight for Paul after his sole career defeat.

“The Problem Child” began well and landed almost at will in the opening few rounds before Diaz switched to southpaw and had some success. Paul caught Diaz in round five with a left hand, which knocked the ex-UFC star down. The remainder of the fight saw Paul outwork his opponent, which resulted in him winning by unanimous decision with the judge’s scorecards reading 97-92 and 98-91 x 2.
