Impressive Amateur to Make Super Middleweight Debut on April 13 Top Rank Bill
Top Rank have announced Julian Delgado will make his professional debut on the April 13 Top Rank card, where he will face an opponent to be named in a four-round bout at American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The tripleheader card will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+ and feature unbeaten heavyweight Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson vs. Belgian contender Ryad Merhy, Efe Ajagba vs. Guido Vianello, and Robson Conceição will take on Mexico’s Jose Guardado.

The Corpus Christi native will launch his professional career – in front of his own fans. “King” has enjoyed an accelerated amateur career since 2021, winning two national and state titles across a 40-fight amateur career. This impressive rise saw him become the first Corpus Christi native in four decades to win a National Golden Gloves title in 2023. Less than a year after this success, Delgado is ready to start his professional journey.

Speaking about his upcoming debut – Delgado said: “This is a moment I have been manifesting and have been working towards day in day out for the last two years of my life. Jared Anderson Looks Forward to Headline Slot
The main attraction on the card will be heavyweight prospect Anderson as he looks to start 2024 in style after having a 3-0 2023. Speaking on his upcoming fight against Merhy, the Toldeo native said: “This is going to be the start of a big year, and I can’t wait to show out in front of the fans in Corpus Christi and everyone watching on ESPN.”
