Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Jomha vs. Alex Wassabi Fight Results: Wassabi Earns MD

In the main event for Creator Clash 2, Alex Wassabi defeated Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Jomha by majority decision.

Creator Clash 2 was a fun event, well organized, and the production was top-notch. In the main event, Alex Wassabi earned a majority decision over Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Jomha. The judges’ scorecards read 38-38, 39-37 & 39-37 in an entertaining main event.

Alex Wassabi faded a bit but finished strong in the main event.

When the fight began, Wassabi was clearly in control. He was pumping the jab, giving ‘iDubbbz’ some serious issues. There were moments when it looked like Wassabi would score the knockdown, but ‘iDubbbz’ survived the first round. In the second round, ‘iDubbbz’ landed two straight left hooks, which gained Wassabi’s attention. Although ‘iDubbbz’ was winning most of the round, Wassabi landed some check left hooks towards the end and a straight right hand which got ‘iDubbbz’ into trouble.

Wassabi was gassed in the third round, which is when ‘iDubbbz’ started to work and get going. With Wassabi’s mouth wide open, ‘iDubbbz’ was applying a ton of pressure. In the last round, Wassabi landed the cleaner punches, which got a reaction from the crowd as they cheered throughout the fight.

John Hennigan began his ringwalk with wrestling legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan while Harley Morenstein entered through the crowd. Hennigan jumped on Morenstein early with the overhand rights as Morenstein had no answer for them. Towards the end of the round, Hennigan landed another right hand sending Morenstein flying through the ropes and onto the announcer’s table. Morenstein got back into the ring and survived the first round.

In the second round, Hennigan jumped on him again and landed another right hand sending Morenstein down again for the second knockdown of the fight. At the beginning of the third round, Hennigan timed Morenstein with a huge straight right hand sending him down and out. Hennigan earned the third-round knockout as the crowd went absolutely nuts. Afterward, Hennigan called out KSI for a fight.

Both Andrea Botez and Michelle Khare came into the ring with a loud ovation from the sellout crowd in Tampa, Fl. Khare looked more like a fighter than Botez did in the first round. Khare bounced on her feet, feinted, and moved to Botez’s left to avoid the right hand. Botez looked surprised that Khare came into this fight well-prepared.

Khare kept landing a looping right hand while Botez couldn’t find her rhythm. In the fourth round, Botez could finally land her left lab consistently and applied a ton of pressure throughout the round after her corner pleaded that she do more. During the fifth and final round, Khare landed the best punch of the fight, an overhand right that got a big reaction from the crowd. The fight went to the scorecards, and all three judges saw this 49-46 for Michelle Khare.
