O’Shaquie Foster vs Stephen Fulton Confirmed as Co-Feature
Alongside Fundora vs Thurman, WBC super featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster (23-3, 12 KOs) will face Stephen Fulton (23-1, 8 KOs), the WBC featherweight titlist, who will move up in weight. Fundora vs Thurman will headline a PBC on Prime Video pay-per-view card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Jesus Ramos Jr (23-1, 19 KOs) will face Shane Mosley Jr (22-4, 12 KOs) on the card for the vacant WBC interim middleweight title.
Fundora vs Thurman and Rest of Card
Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) will be entering this fight full of confidence after his dominating stoppage win against Tim Tszyu in their July 19 rematch on the Manny Pacquiao-Mario Barrios card. Fundora vs Thurman will be the third defence for “The Towering Inferno.” The recent years for Thurman (31-1, 23 KOs) have been full of inactivity, mainly due to injuries. He ended a three-year layoff by moving up in weight to stop Brock Jarvis in the third round.

Thurman’s comeback win was meant to set up a fight with Tim Tszyu, but the Australian decided to invoke his rematch with Fundora, leaving Thurman in no man’s land.
This looks set to be an intriguing card from PBC. Fundora vs Thurman should ignite. “The Towering Inferno” is normally entertaining in fights, as proven by his two wins over Tszyu and his dominating victory over Chordale Booker. Foster vs Fulton has been mooted since April and was expected to be the co-feature to the Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach Jr rematch, which has been scrapped due to the exhibition between Davis and Jake Paul on November 14. Due to the Top Rank situation having no platform to host fights, it left Foster and Fulton waiting on the next PBC date.

Ramos Jr has won his last three fights since his only professional defeat against Erickson Lubin. This fight marks a move up in weight for Ramos, who will face a rejuvenated Mosley, who scored his biggest win over Daniel Jacobs last time out.
Premier Boxing Champions have scheduled a press conference for September 3 in Los Angeles, where the fighters are scheduled to appear to discuss the upcoming card.
